Perth’s first Zombie March/Zombie flash mob was unleashed on the city last weekend (Saturday, April 5) to the surprise and horror of Perth’s weekend shoppers. Although initially there were concerns that the event would be rained-out the sky cleared to a brilliant blue just before the zombies emerged.

At noon the moaning Australian zombie horde emerged from the backstreet’s to drag themselves through the city center, including a jaunt through the Perth Train station and finally to the James Street mall.

The zombie walk had a great turnout, and many people demonstrated great ability with makeup, dripping blood, shambling and lurching at unsuspecting terrified onlookers.

The event was organized excellently by Perth’s flash mob group http://www.do-or-diy.com/, and here’s hoping that there will be many more of its type.
